Here's a quick list of all the courses taught in the Blair Magnet Program. Those classes marked as electives may also be taken by other Blair students with the appropriate prerequisites. If you are not in the Magnet but interested in taking one of the elective courses, check out the class's webpage (if available), then consult with your Guidance Counselor for more information. The webpages for some courses listed here are still being constructed, hence the lack of links for these courses. Stay tuned.

Students follow the sequence listed below, though incoming 9th graders who have already taken the first courses of the sequence in Middle School will start in the middle of the Magnet's mathematics sequence.

Please note that we've used the "shorthand" names for several of these courses. So, for example, if you are looking in your official MCPS course catalog for "Magnet Physics," you won't find it...we thought "Magnet Physics" would be easier to understand than the official name, "Advanced Science 1."
